Actually, the group Rokkurro is probably the opposite of Rock & Roll. They have a dreamy, atmospheric sound that is typical of so many Icelandic groups. And what's with a small island nation like Iceland producing so many fine bands? Bjork, Sigur Ros, Mum, and now Rokkurro? Once again, this will have to be a rather short post since there is virtually no info on them on the net, including Wikipedia. If it wasn't for the fine CBC radio show, The Signal, I would never have heard of them. So look for their music on youtube, in addition to the clips I've included, and enjoy!
